Time for a new game idea

This time’s theme and platform:
- Pulp Fiction (the literary genre) for PS3
Pulp fiction, for those who may not be familiar with the genre, is light literature that’s written to be entertaining to be entertaining first and foremost, with little artistic concern. It’s in fact quite unrelated to the movie of the same name — I wouldn’t consider Quentin Tarantino’s movie to be a good example of Pulp Fiction. Indiana Jones and Star Wars are better examples: big, fun adventures where heroes are heroic and villains are villainous. Pulp fiction was very popular from the 20s to the 50s.
It’s a broad subject and the PS3 is powerful enough to handle nearly everything you could throw at it, so there’s lot of room to come up with a cool idea. I’m a fan of the genre and the look and feel that goes with it, so it should be fun to work on.

The Animatrix 1st & 2nd Renaissance would make a great Battlefield type of game. For example Star Wars Batllefront. But with high Def graphics and next generation game play. Imagine defending a city from the robot invasion. Witnessing thousands of robots flooding the streets. Fighting with hundreds of other soldiers and battle units. With real time strategy with tactical nukes and air strikes all in first person. In the Animatrix the humans lose, but it would make an original computer game. Maybe not for design or genre, but from the fact that you can’t win. You will always loose, but how long can you fight off for. Online play would be great. 1 other great thing is that it could even finish off the Matrix story in a sequel. Same type of game but after Matrix 3 when the humans fight back in & out of the Matrix mixing up the gameplay.
